Hot Looks for Cold Nights

January 13, 2017

Going out in the winter can be a pain for a number of reasons. It’s hard not to get salt stains on your shoes in the North East, and most of your turtlenecks are less than sexy. Fortunately, you read this blog and I have a couple hot outfit ideas for you.

Velvet Blazer + Bodysuit + boots

Whatever you want to wear on bottoms is up for you; skater skirts and high-rise jeans recommended.

Velvet blazer

Blazers: Missguided $23, Joe Fresh $40, ASOS $83 (and yes, that is somehow a blazer)

You can wear them to work & you can wear them to the bar.  If you wanna club it– consider a blazer a size up, some fashion tape, and (if you’re shy or really busy) a cute bralette under.

sassy bodysuit

Far Fetch $345 (it’s aspirations, peeps), Make me Chic $23 (for Valentines Day?),  ASOS $58

I think we can all agree, we are throwing our lace-up bodysuits into the dumpster fire of 2016. Now, that doesn’t mean we’re done with bodysuits all together– not a chance. We’re just making them more sensible.

hot boots

Warehouse Metallic Heeled Ankle Boots $140, Steve Madden over-the-knee boots $129, Jeffrey Campbell $175

I love my sleek black leather boots just as much as the next gal, but they certainly don’t make a statement. If you’re like myself and prefer to wear as much black as possible; this is a way to standout, without changing that.

Add a Statement earring (hoops or chandelier), and you’re good to go out.
