Hello, everyone! It’s Nicole. There are a whole bunch of facial sprays on the market that do a whole range of things. They can set, prime, refresh, moisturize, and more. Let me talk you through the 5 I have:

What I use it for…

Smashbox Primer Water: This smells amazing and is such a fine mist. It makes the skin tacky and I think helps my makeup stick. I think it’s perfect for warmer months when you don’t want an extra layer of crap on your skin but still need it primed.

e.l.f. Mist & Set: I use this when I need to tone down the powder on my face if I get too heavy handed. It’s also just a nice pick-me-up to refresh.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Spray Set: This setting spray is the bomb! It really locks in your makeup and at a drugstore price, it’s even better.

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray: I used to use this as a setting spray but wasn’t a huge fan. Then I started using it as a primer and really liked it. I’m on the fence about whether I like this or the Smashbox better, but I won’t be repurchasing this immediately when it runs out.

Urban Decay All-Nighter: The UD setting sprays really started the whole setting spray craze in my mind. While I like this one because it’s compact for my bag, I don’t think it’s any better than the L’Oreal.

Believe it or not, I have 2 sprays on my wish list…The Body Shop Vitamin C Engergizing Face Spritz and the Pixi Glow Mist. Have you tried either of these or any on my list? Let me know! I always love to hear recommendations! xoxo Nicole
