Everyone has that one friend they go to for fashion advice and wardrobe raids, right? Well, for those of you who have never gone into an LF store, the shopping experience there is very much like going through your most fashionable friend’s closet. From the moment you step into the store, you’re styled by someone who acts more like a friend than a salesperson. For those of us who fear those working on commission, this is a safe-zone.
Although the product definitely seems inspired by LA fashion (where HQ is)– their merchandise actually comes from Europe and Australia, and is exclusive to LF in the United States. Although their stores appear chaotic at times (aka the twice a year sales) there is actually a really smart method to the madness. They organize their merchandize by outfits in store, making it seamless for the stylist to pull for clients. The employee’s style you from head-to-toe in what they know will look fierce on you, who wouldn’t want a complimentary personal stylist? Trust me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Stylists pull for their customers and by the time you reach the dressing room– you feel like best friends, which you wouldn’t usually get at any other retail store.
Mackenzie and I had a blast when we went in for our styling. How could we not? The styling process at LF is every shopaholic’s dream (guilty.) She and I were definitely feelin’ ourselves in the outfits they had us trying on– some of which we never realized we could pull off. I truly did feel as if I were shopping through my own best friend’s closet.
Pics or it didn’t happen: We had the gorgeous Melissa Lena with us to help capture every moment from our styling session with LF Boston!
Shoutout to Melissa Silverstein, LF Stylist, for setting up this project!
The moment we were all realizing how short I actually am…
B*tch stole my look 😉
How cute is she? That was one of my favorite outfits. She looks fabulous as always!
