Fall is coming and for once, and I mean for once, I’m not completely dreading it. I’ve spent the past summer living and working in New York, and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life. While normally I’m not always so excited to bid adieu to the heat, this year I’m looking forward to boots, jeans and blazers more than ever.  Over the course of September, the MIS team will be sharing our must-haves for fall. First, mine.

I would best describe my style as functional trendy, femme, with urban and prep inspirations. My closet is fairly uniform; I love mid-length skirts and high-rise cropped pants. During the day I work for a caviar company, where I need to look fashionable and professional. On weekends, I schedule bottomless brunch with friends as often as possible. My fashion-inspirations are fashion insider  Jacey Duprie for her nuance classic wardrobe and celebrity stylist Monica Rose, who is the world’s largest trendsetter. This fall I’m wearing square silk scarves, long-sleeved bodysuits and midi skirts (below) / dresses (Above)

EVERYTHING MIDI

Paired with a bodysuit or button up shirt, midi skirts are my favorite thing to wear right now. The yellow might look a little summery for September, but paired with a burgundy or grey sweater and ankle booties– cute af.
