Minimalism is so 2014. Right now, it’s all about embroidery, bold colors, and everything fluffy. In other words, welcome to my dreamland. Lately I have been very, very into colorful (faux) fur coats, and not-your-average leather jackets… especially my favorite floral Parker leather jacket (above.) I’ve rounded up some of my favorite outerwear, with your budgets in mind, for Fall/Winter 2k16-17.

A fabulous faux fur coat can transform your basic bitch wardrobe into something 5x times more glamorous. If you’re like myself, there will always be a place for something fluffy and fabulous in your wardrobe. If you’re a bit more reluctant to hop on the fuzzy train, perhaps go for something on the bargain side: like this F21 coat.

Winter is coming, so you may think your leather jacket needs have come to an end. Unlikely. A cute leather jacket is always the best thing to wear out on a weekend night; especially when you don’t want to check a coat. Here are some of my favorites.

As much as you wish you could live in your faux fur coat, chances are, you’ll probably need something more “appropriate” for work & dinner. That doesn’t mean you need to keep it boring. I’m equally in love with this F21 fur collar coat as I am this girly-girl staple JCrew one.
