While it may seem like we’ve skipped over spring and have jumped straight into summer, now is not the time to get a pedicure and hit the beach. I’ve written a million articles on how to dress in unseasonable weather, but at this point I have concluded that there is only one rule to follow– wear weather appropriate fabrics in seasonally appropriate colors. Today i’m wearing a light black bomber jacket + leggings. It’s 70 degrees in New York. Whatever, it’ll probably snow next week.
Anyways, i’m here as always to serve you with looks that I’m loving for spring. I’m really excited about Australian style again. Two-piece sets or “co-ords” are back and cuter than ever. Platform sandals are your new favorite going out shoe. I’m also really digging gingham, ruffles and anything Sabo Skirt is serving me.
I’m also loving Courtney (Australia) and Lily (New Zealand) on the Bachelor Winter Games. Arie has been exceptionally lame as the Bachelor this season, and Winter Games has brought me the joy once served by Corinne “#teamcorn” Olympios. I love this couple and I hope they last forever. I would marry either of them. While I was a little off-put by the kissing contest– I’m not a prude, I just felt awkward watching it, I found them to be super cute and adorable. They just work. Although I must acknowledge that I was a little bit of a hypocrite. When I found out Bekah M on Arie’s season was 22 I wanted him to send her (cute, fun) booty home. I didn’t think she could *possibly* be ready for marriage. Meanwhile, found out yesterday that Lily is 21 and I am practically volunteering to officiate their wedding. She just seems really mature, guys.
Anyways, I’ve taken the time to create some cute AF outfits for you to try, all inspired by Australian fashion bloggers. My favorite of which is Bree Warren, incase you were curious. I’m going to Miami in a week + you’ll see that my vacation wardrobe was very much inspired by the aussies.
