Hello there! It’s been a minute. My focus has been on Bad Bitch Book Club, I’ve been reading a lot in quarantine, as you may have noticed. Here are some books I think you should take to the beach/pool/backyard/couch this summer.

If Romance is Your Jam
- Well Met by Jen DeLuca: love in the form of a small town Renaissance Faire! This cute enemies-to-lovers book is charming and original. Loved it.
- One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid: TJR is everything. All of her books are in a class of their own. But there is something about this lost love story that really cut me deep.
- Bringing Down the Duke by Evie Dunmore: The results from the BBBC romance challenge are in, people LOVED Evie Dunmore’s historical romance. This is steamy as hell, and ultra feminist.
The Hottest New Releases
- Beach Read by Emily Henry: What do you get when you have writers block, a secret family and a surprise reunion with a college enemy? The hottest new release of the summer.
- Untamed by Glennon Doyle: You’ll be hard pressed to find a book more widely circulated this summer. This book is great if you’re looking to find yourself. The cover is also as instagrammable as they come. I will say, if you’re not a newbie to self help this may not be the book for you.
- Big Summer by Jennifer Weiner: A story of female friendships, the downsides of having an online life and family. I haven’t read this yet (full disclosure) but the reviews are fantastic and I look forward to reading it soon.
Memoirs I’m Obsessed With

- Inside Out by Demi Moore: I knew absolutely nothing about Demi Moore before reading her memoir (I just heard it had great tea.) Now I fully stan. I highly recommend the audiobook.
- We’re Going to Need More Wine by Gabrielle Union: This is probably one of the best celebrity memoirs i’ve ever read. Gabby has had a fascinating life, and had plenty of great insight to share.
- Love Lives Here by Amanda Jette Knox: Our BBBC BOTM! Amanda’s marriage was saved when her partner came out as transgender. This is their story.
