Up until I studied abroad in Australia I was hopelessly devoted to my Rebecca Minkoff “Mini Mac” bag. Things changed when it was stolen (full story here). I was heartbroken but unable to buy a new one as my parents would legitimately murder me if I bought a designer handbag with my study abroad funds. Anyways– upon my return to the states I didn’t have a particular shortage on small bags, and was in desperate need of something bigger. For this I turned to my girl RM for a tote. Although it might have been slightly more sensible for me to purchase the Medium MAB tote, I decided to purchase the large in “almond”. So far I feel like i’ve entered what will become a happily committed relationship. This tote can fit literally anything and has plenty of side pockets to make sure your phone doesn’t get lost in the jungle you’ve created for yourself at the bottom. Word to the wise: this is not a bag you want to take out with you at night, I went to a bar directly from work yesterday and because it was so crowded I felt like I had developed a Siamese twin carrying my MAB bag around. Incase you weren’t aware of how much of a bad bitch Rebecca Minkoff is, “MAB” stands for “morning after bag.” Gisele Bundchen has the same tote in black, hopefully my neighbor doesn’t mind matching!

If you’re looking for a bag that can carry a good amount (more than the mac) but won’t take up too much space– I’d suggest the mini.
