Share Clothes Not ____!

Being a good friend is a fairly simple job. In return, you have someone who will help you laugh when you’re crying and make you a drink or pass you the bowl to soothe the pain. Don’t say horrible things about your friends, and they won’t talk shit about you. Tell them when they have spinach in their teeth, or if they blacked out and made out with everyone at a party. Ensure them that their ex’s new bitch is nowhere near as pretty + charming as them. Lastly, share clothes & not cock. College is a limited dating pool, but not so exclusive that you need to form the sisterhood of the traveling dick.

To make this short + simple, here are some guidelines on how to not be a shitty friend.

  • If your friend has cried over him, he’s probably off limits.
  • If your friend has cried about him in your presence, he’s definitely off limits.
  • If it was a one-night stand, the girl isn’t one of your BFFs + it was over a year ago: green light.
  • If you’re morally obligated to text her and ask if its OK, release this catch and keep fishing.
  • If there was ever a level of exclusivity to their relationship, DON’T GO ANY FURTHER. STOP RN.

Of course this all sounds fairly simple, or at least I hope it does. Still, I continue to hear stories about girls who hookup with their friend’s ex boyfriends/hookups. I understand if you’re not one of those people who is grossed out with the idea of passing around a dude, but most girls aren’t like that. Very few girls are comfortable with their friend banging their ex FWB or BF. Chances are slim that this guy is your “forever”, but friendships aren’t supposed to have a time restriction. Baby now we got bad blood.
