Hello beautiful people, it’s Nicole again! I’m back to give you the rundown on my 5 favorite looks from NYFW. I also have some tips on how you can make the sometimes extreme runway looks work for you day to day life. Remember, makeup and fashion are very similar…what looks good on one person might not look good on another. It takes some trial and error. People have different eye shapes, skin tones, facial structure, ect. Just tweak these looks for what looks best on you to bring out your best features.
How-to at Home: This look is ideal for all of you college gals. Simply moisturize your skin, add a little liquid highlighter on the top of your cheekbones, a creamy concealer under they eyes, and finish with a pink gloss.
How-to at Home: Pick a fun color that compliments your eye color (green/brown eyes go for blue, green/blue go for purple). Line your upper lash line with the bold color. Add some mascara, keep your cheeks and lips natural.
How-to at Home: Use this new Revlon Photo Ready Eye Art in Burnished Bling to add sparkle to your inner corner, at the end of your liquid liner, or underneath the lash line. Experiment and have fun!
How-to at Home: Comb your brows upward, run a little brown shadow through your crease, finish with a neutral blush and lip balm.
How-to at Home: Spray an angle liner brush with Mac Fix+ or any makeup setting spray. Dip your brush in any eyeshadow color of your choice and go to town. Make sure to set your brows with a clear brow gel after. If you’re a Bachelor fan, you might have seen Catherine Lowe rocking some cobalt blue brows. This trend is so fun and could be seen on the runway in the Badgley Mischka show. It’s probably not for everyday but if you’re going to a concert or music festival, go for it. Another option: Use a colored mascara for a more natural look.
What’s your favorite look?
