Some of us just weren’t born– or better yet, trained, to wear heels. Although I pride myself in my ability to wear stilettos without complaining for up to 4 hours, others such as my BFF/roommate Amanda, are a liability past 3 inches. For this reason we should all consider ourselves #blessed to have the option of wearing platform sandals (soon, not yet.)

When we were living in Australia, we noticed the trend and immediately hopped on the tall-without-pain-game. Windsor Smith was the first designer to really get the platform sandal going (in Aus of course)… Although they have been trending for over a year now down under, this summer will be the first big platform movement in the States in awhile.

I’m a fan of Jeffrey Campbell and Windsor Smith (THE OG) for the most badass platforms, Steve Madden for the metallic, but this pair from Necessary Clothing is $25 of pure perfection. Should you? The question is, how could you not?
